Granite Hot Springs
Along Hoback Canyon, south of Jackson, you'll find a beautiful place of complete relaxation and comfort: Granite Hot Springs. Escape the problems of the workday world and sink into the natural rejuvenating warm-water springs. With both a man-made swimming pool and a natural hot springs bath, this spot offers some fabulous opportunities to luxuriate in healing water.
Location
South of Jackson, Granite Hot Springs is tucked away in the Gros Ventre Mountains, just under 7,000 feet above sea level. Follow US-191 12 miles south from Hoback Junction until you reach the Granite Hot Springs gravel and dirt road. Granite Hot Springs is 11 miles down this road.
Getting there in the Winter
During the winter, the road from US-191 is groomed and access is limited to snowmobiles (rentals or tours), dog sled tours, fat bikes, and cross-country skis (rentals available in town). You can enjoy half-day trips on a dog sled or snowmobile tour, including a soak in the hot springs. Cross-country skiing takes about 3 or 4 hours round-trip and you'll want to give yourself some extra time to enjoy a soak.

Hours/Season
The Granite Hot Springs pool is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the summer (May 15th to Labor Day), 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. after Labor Day, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the winter (early December to early April). You can call ahead: 307-690-6323 as dates are all weather dependent.
Camping
The Granite Creek Campground offers 51 sites for tent camping and camping trailers on a first come first served basis. You will find picnic tables, toilets, drinking water, and fire pits. There is a $20 fee for each site. Open the Thursday of Memorial Day Week through late September.
All sites are First Come First Serve. Each campsite is on a gravel and dirt pad, approx 15' x 46'. The sites are situated on 3 loops with 6 pull-through sites for RV's.
