Rendezvous Mountain

Rendezvous Mountain is located near Jackson Hole, Wyoming, a part of the famous Jackson Hole Ski Resort. It attracts thousands of visitors annually from all parts of the globe, not just for winter sports, but even for summer recreation, being one of the most majestic peaks in the area.

Jackson Hole Ski Resort in Wyoming is home to the famous Rendezvous Mountain. It is renowned for skiing, hiking and mountaineering, drawing in eager recreation enthusiasts from all over the world. In fact, it is open throughout the year, providing fun and excitement for young and old.

The mountain opens for action from November to April, but weather permitting, it can be climbed and hiked even during the off-season times. Rendezvous is characterized by over a thousand acres of skiing terrain, vertical drops reaching over four thousand feet, a summit of over ten thousand feet, the capacity to cope with over eight thousand skiers every hour and ski runs that are mainly fit for experts, though beginners and intermediates are also catered for.

Even in the summer Rendezvous Mountain can be explored with rides in the resort's aerial tram as well as an eight passenger gondola. Summer temperatures can reach over 21 degrees, with winters going well below zero. In fact, the mountain is also home to a ski school, a kids' ranch, a cafe, shops, tours, a guest center, an activity center, an espresso and coffee bar, a racing school and track for skaters and skiers, a deli, three mountain top restaurants, a snack bar and two dining cabins.
