There are a number of bus tour companies located within Jackson Hole offering services that range from sightseeing tours, group transportation, airport shuttle services and ski buses.
Start Bus - Transportation in Downtown Jackson, Teton Village, Teton Valley, and Star Valley
The START (Southern Teton Area Rapid Transit) bus is Jackson Hole's convenient and affordable public transportation. It is of the best sources of transportation within "the hole", providing transportation to many locations within town as well as has service out to Wilson, Teton Village, Alpine, Star Valley, and it's latest destination, Teton Valley, Idaho. The Start Bus runs four schedules routes: Town Shuttle; Jackson to Teton Village; Jackson to Teton Valley; Jackson to Star Valley. Schedules are found at most Hotels, Motels, Albertson's, Smith's, Town Hall on Pearl Street, at the bus stops, and on the bus. Note that the Star Valley and Teton Valley routes are designed for the commuter with typically only scheduled buses in the mornings and evenings. Monthly bus pass discounts:
Monthly bus passes are available for the Jackson-Star Valley and Jackson-Teton Village bus routes. Winter season bus passes are available for the Jackson-Teton Village line.
