It's true that our laid-back approach to life here makes for a very comfortable community. But we're also a busy and rapidly growing region. In fact, the town of Driggs, Idaho continues to top the lists of one of the best places to live in the nation. A Mecca for winter and summer sports, the mountains and rivers attract thousands of visitors each year, and a lucky few stay permanently.
All up-to-the-minute services are available. Plus, our residents can work in the morning and in the afternoon take a few runs at Grand Targhee Ski Resort (just up the road from Driggs, Idaho) or Teton Pass (just up the road from Victor, Idaho). In the summer, afternoons can be spent biking the Big Holes, wetting a fly in the Teton river, heading to the rodeo, hiking the Alaska Basin Trail. Don't forget that both Yellowstone National Park or Grand Teton National Park are a very short drive away for further adventure! 
The jagged, snow-capped Tetons to the east and the rolling Big Hole Mountains to the west cradle the gentle, flat course of the Teton River. Old farmsteads scattered across the valley floor contradict beautiful new homes along the foothills. Our population is a diverse mix of pioneer families and recently arrived residents from around the country, and world. We have a brand new high school, our local hospital is one of the best in the region, and our arts community is flourishing. Business is booming in our little valley, and residents are stepping up to the challenges with innovative and lively entrepreneurial and cultural ventures with healthy, collaborative planning for the future. Hiking, camping and abundant wildlife, including moose, deer, elk, and bear, can be found in this mountain valley and help make this a paradise on earth.
