Hiking anywhere in the Jackson Hole Valley is quite pleasant, with many well-maintained and marked trails throughout town and the surrounding forest areas. Within the downtown commercial area, kids can ride the stagecoach around the Town Square, see and even participate in our local rodeo, attend theatrical plays and melodramas, and enjoy tennis, basketball, baseball, and other sports at local parks. Swimming at the Teton County Recreation Center is available year-round, and includes a giant waterslide for kids and adults!
At Snow King, there is an Alpine Slide and miniature golf course, scenic chair lift rides, and tubing in the winter. Everyone will enjoy movies at local theatres, events like art and science classes offered through non-profit groups and schools, kid-friendly museums, and wildlife-spotting on the National Elk Refuge.
And yes, there are arcades and game parlors found within local hotels, resorts and establishments should they be getting that 'techno twitch' developing.
