John D. Rockefeller National Parkway
To travel the John D. Rockefeller National Parkway in Wyoming is to move through the heart of Yellowstone and some fabulous scenery. Officially called the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway, this lovely drive is one you absolutely can't miss in your vacation in Wyoming. One of the most beautiful parkways in Teton County, it links the north of Grand Teton National Park with the south of Yellowstone. Vacationers travel this byway to enjoy some incredible scenery as they go from one popular park destination to another.
The park was named for John D. Rockefeller, Jr., who made many contributions to our national park system. As you travel this parkway along gentle slopes and outcroppings, you'll see the beautiful forests and abundant wildlife. You'll tour Caribou-Targhee National Forest and the Bridger-Teton National Forest up close, and view the Teton Wilderness first-hand.
