Fall River
The Fall River is situated in Idaho, in Yellowstone National Park's southwestern corner. It is not as well known as other rivers in the area, but it is a prime fishing ground for those who are willing to give it a try. In fact, it is challenging to get to, but the rewards are substantial.
With a bit of effort and a lot of determination, driving to Yellowstone National Park's Fall River in Idaho can reward even the fussiest fisherman. In fact, fishing is not as widely known in this river, but it offers a gravel and asphalt road from the nearby highway, a campground and the perfect spot for fishing adventures.
The Fall River is stocked full of rainbow trout, swimming in the clear waters, not far from numerous waterfalls. In fact, fishing trips to the river are great for peace as not many people are willing to drive to the river, let alone manage with a rustic outhouse and limited camping facilities.
As the river is so calm, fishing is very safe. The waters are crystal clear and it is easy to see the bottom. As there is no real current, the river provides an easy place for wading whilst fishing in waters that are over flowing with glistening trout.
