Cross Country Ski Centers

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Saddlehorn Center
17 kms of groomed skating and classic lanes through flat open fields, rolling aspen glades, and deep evergreen woods. Exchange your alpine lift ticket for a Nordic trail pass (on the same day of purchase). Lessons and rentals available. Dog friendly—ski with your pooch on designated trails. Spring Creek Nordic Center
10 kms of groomed skating and classic lanes on flat or gentle grade. Guided half- and full-day tours into Grand Teton National Park. Rentals. 733-1004.

Teton Pines Nordic Center
14 kms of groomed skating and classic lanes along gently rolling terrain through willow and aspen glades and ponds. Lessons and rentals available. Ski tours to Grand Teton National Park. Relax by the fireplace, eat, or drink in the luxurious clubhouse. 733-1005. 

Community Pathways
Jackson’s Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with Jackson Hole Community Pathways maintains six cross-country ski tracks, snow conditions permitting. A 10-kilometer loop in Cache Creek can be accessed from the Snow King Resort, although it begins at the Cache Creek trailhead parking lot. The groomers go eight kms up Game Creek, and four kms on the northeast side of the Snake River Levy. The Russ Garaman and the School Trails are groomed when there’s adequate snowcover, as is the Melody Trail south of town. For the latest grooming conditions call the Parks and Recreation department at 733-5056.

White Pine Ski Area
60 km of skied-in trails originate from Skyline Drive (Fremont Lake Road) and a handful of trails start from the White Pine parking lot. These trails access over 2 million acres of public land, including the Wind River Mountains. 367-6606 

Grand Targhee
15 kms of groomed skating and classic lanes over rolling terrain with big views over the valley and into the northern Tetons. Lessons and rentals available, including snowshoes. 1-800-Targhee.

Flagg Ranch Nordic Center
Skied-in trails along the Snake River at the south entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Snowmobile and snowcoach ski-access to the park. 307-543-2861

Yellowstone National Park
Over 100 miles of skied-in cross-country track are maintained in the park. A variety of ski trips, both guided and unguided, use snowcoaches as access from West Yellowstone, Mammoth, and Old Faithful.
