The DRIGGS GLOW!
The DRIGGS GLOW! is an exciting new element of the Teton Valley Balloon Rally for 2012.
A night glow is a traditional element of hot air balloon rallies, creating an amazing experience for spectators as inflated, grounded balloons glow in the evening.
The DRIGGS GLOW! will feature five glowing balloons in downtown Driggs at sunset on Tuesday, July 3. But why stop there? The GLOW! will also feature live music by local band Hot Air, a meet & greet with the Rally's balloon pilots, a downtown art walk, restaurant "balloon specials", an arts & crafts station for children, a fantastic raffle, and a balloon science workshop hosted by Teton Science Schools.
This fun community event is designed to be a family-friendly way to enjoy the Teton Valley Balloon Rally, even if you're not a morning person. Come on out and support the rally, the pilots, and the Teton Valley community!
In addition to the amazing events that are part of the Rally, early July is an amazing time of year to get out and explore Teton Valley. Head up to Grand Targhee Resort and take advantage of lift access mountain biking and amazing hiking trails. A portion of all lift tickets sold July 1-4 will go to support the Teton Valley Balloon Rally!
