Event Details:
Application Process: Please submit 5 images of similar artwork and a concept sketch or description to cgeraci@gmail.com. The concept will be evaluated, and if awarded a commission, the artist will have time to fully develop and refine their idea.
Submissions will be reviewed by the Center of Wonder and the Art Association. Applicants will be notified by phone or email if they have been awarded the commission. Stipends will be paid 50% for materials and 50% upon completion of the work.
We encourage artists to: Use repurposed, recycled and found materials. Outreach and community engagement with disabled, underserved, or younger artists will be favored in the selection process.
"Art it Forward": The ArtSpot program is self-sustaining. We ask that your artwork is donated to the ArtSpot program. Revenue from the auction of your ArtSpot will be used to support future ArtSpot stipends.
SPRING and WINTER Submission Deadline: June 18th. Artist selection announced on June 21 (pending receipt of qualified applications).
