The bicycling, both road biking and mountain biking, in and around Jackson Hole has attained a must-ride status, rivaling those of Sun Valley, Big Sky, and other mountain resort regions. With the competitive nature of the athletes drawn to these summertime "sister-sports" of skiing, the race circuit was a natural development. Take a look at the selection of races here, and we'll see you at the starting line!
Annual Cache Creek to Game Creek Mountain Bike Race
Where: Cache Creek/Game Creek
The race begins at Mike Yokel Park with a mandatory pre-race meeting. Helmets are required. Racers are reminded that Cache Creek and Game Creek Trails are shared use trails and bikers must yield to all other users when training for and participating in this race. IMBA Rules of the Trail should be observed at all times.
Annual WYDAHO Mountain Bike Race
Where: Grand Targhee Resort, Ski Hill Road, Alta, Wyoming
The course is a cross country, mostly singletrack, circuit race. The starting elevation of the course is at 8,000 feet.
Length of Race and Division Breakdowns:
Expert - 21 miles (3 laps)
Intermediate - 14 miles (2 laps)
Beginner - 7 miles (1 lap)
Kids 6-12 - 7 miles (1 lap)
