Overview
Jackson Hole Wyoming is known for its interesting and colorful characters, past and present. At the Jackson Hole Museum, the stories of these characters, their lives and the environment that shaped and influenced these individuals, come alive. No visit to Jackson Hole is complete without a visit to the Museum.
Location/Directions
The Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum actually has two locations. The research facility and administrative office is located at 105 Mercill, Jackson and is open year round.
The Jackson Hole Museum is currently located at 105 North Glenwood and is open during the summer season from Memorial Weekend through mid-September. Look for the covered wagon on top of the roof, one block west of the Town Square and behind the Wort Hotel.
Hours/Seasons
The Jackson Hole Historical Society research facility and administrative office is open year round Tuesday- Friday, 10 am – 5 pm.
The Museum is open seasonally from Memorial Weekend through mid-September, daily, 10 am – 6 pm.
Fees/Cost
No admission fee is charged for the independent use of the research facility.

Jackson Hole Historical Society & Museum is a place where the old West is still alive. The exhibits capture the spirit and the culture of the early days of the Yellowstone Grand Teton, and Jackson Hole region.
