At the south end of Jackson Hole Valley you'll find a beautiful place of complete relaxation and comfort: Granite Hot Springs. Escape the problems of the workday world and sink into the natural rejuvenating warm-water springs. With both a man-made swimming pool and a natural hot springs bath, this spot offers some fabulous opportunities to luxuriate in healing water.
Location
South of Jackson, Granite Hot Springs is tucked away in the Gros Ventre Mountains, just under 7,000 feet above sea level. To get there, take US-191 12 miles south from Hoback Junction until you reach the Granite Hot Springs gravel road. Granite Hot Springs is 10 miles down this road. During the winter, the road from US-191 is groomed and access is limited to snowmobiles and skis.
Hours/Season
The Granite Hot Springs pool is open 10-8 in the summer and 10-6 in the winter.
Cost
Soaking in Granite Hot Springs is $6/adult, $4/child. Campsites are $15/night (May 20 – September 30).
Other Activities
In addition to the soaking pool and the campground, just upstream you’ll find a twenty-foot waterfall that Granite Creek bubbles over, providing soothing sounds for bathers and hikers alike.
