Jackson Hole has steadily gained prominence as a leading cultural center in the Western United States, joining the ranks alongside communities as diverse as San Francisco, Scottsdale, Sedona, and Santa Fe.
Since the late 1800's, when artist Thomas Moran first came to the area, Jackson Hole has drawn and inspired numerous painters, sculptors, photographers, and other artisans. With over 30 fine art galleries and art shops, Jackson Hole offers the art lover an astounding variety of premium quality works by hundreds of nationally renowned artists, as well as an exciting array of professional performing artists in music, dance, and theater.
