Teton County Wyoming
With Yellowstone National Park, the National Elk Refuge and Grand Teton National Park all within Teton County's borders, you'll find one excellent destination for a vacation, any time of year. Teton County, Wyoming is truly part of the Old West heritage, and you can find fabulous outdoor activities for the whole family.
The western edge of Wyoming holds many surprises. In Teton County, the majestic peaks of the Tetons tower above and the forests protect the wildlife that makes this region their home. Teton County is the ideal location for a vacation, with national parks to explore and historic sights to see.
Grand Teton National Park has everything for the outdoor adventurer. Hike to Surprise Lake and try your hand at angling. In the Bridger-Teton National Forest you can also hike the Rendezvous Mountain Trail, mostly a downhill route that loops around Rendezvous Mountain. Yellowstone is here as well, and you will have the opportunity to see Old Faithful, or tour the park's other geysers and colorful mud pots. There are a number of scenic drives throughout Teton County, Wyoming, so you'll get some breathtaking views. Don't pass up the National Elk Refuge, or Jackson Hole Valley where you can go horseback riding.
