Climate
With four distinct seasons and seemingly perfect weather for any time you decide to visit, Jackson Hole, Wyoming is an ideal place no matter the time of year. The varying climate becomes welcoming in the summer, exciting in the winter months, and happily accommodating in the spring and fall.
Jackson Hole, Wyoming boasts a great climate for visitors any time of year, with wonderful warm days during the spring and summer and of course, winters that attract the skiers and those who love a vacation in the high country from late November to early April.
Spring is the favorite of many, lasting from the end of April through June. The days are mild and the nights cool, with the lake ice thawing by the end of May. In June the snow melts and the wildflowers begin to bloom. Summer is in July and August, with warm days and nights still on the cooler side. In the afternoons you'll find short-lived thunderstorms. The fall weather (from September to November) finds the nights noticeably colder yet with bright sunny days. You will still experience some rain and at times, snow. But the real treat is the aspens waving golden leaves from September to the beginning of October.
